Strong Families, Strong Students Financial Assistance:

Learn more about the Strong Families, Strong Students financial assistance program available to support your child’s learning needs. Enrollment will be open from October 21, 2020 to December 8, 2020. Awards will be issued first on economic need and then on a first come first serve basis. All dollars must be allocated to families no later than December 31, 2020.

School District Status:

To find out which school districts are conducting in person versus hybrid or online school go to the Idaho Coronavirus Resources for Schools webpage. Please note this interactive map is NOT kept up to date. For example the Minidoka County School District has closed the schools for the next two weeks (kids are scheduled to return to school on November 9, 2020). The closure was due to COVID sanitation, precautions, and planning. Please note not all school districts are listed and many of those listed have not been updated since August, nearly 3 months ago!

It’s best to call the school district or school directly for the most up to date information.

The site also has weekly updates on reported COVID-19 cases in schools, here again there is no guarantee that the data is the most up to date information and a true account of infection rates in schools.
